Hi All- I have been gearing up at the store for our BIG anniversary SALE this weekend. I was in the store today
doing some re-arranging and all for the weekend. LOTS of great stuff throughout the mall.

I like to have a nice mix of merchandise for our customers. I grouped my Whites together and then some of the more primitive type goods on a separate shelf.

I just love the old PEPSI sign. Lots of rust and crust and the interesting thing is , that it is in SPANISH. EVEN better. Hard to see that, but at the bottom it says  a phrase" TODO MAS SABROSO." How great is that!

So  if you are in the WESTERN suburbs in CHICAGO, Come in to the mall for some deals and treats. ALWAYS  a great time for everyone.

Baby its cold outside!!! With temperatures way below freezing, I have been finishing up some projects around the house. One is a repurposed coffee, or side table that I painted, aged and added old yard sticks to , to give it an industrial flair. It will be going to the antique store on Wed., once the  freeze lifts a bit.

The kids are off and will be again tomorrow, so we are just "Chillin" indoors.

STAY WARM.

When creating this table, I used things that I had around the house to keep costs to a minimum. The paint color I mixed with existing paints and the yardsticks, I had in my stash in my garage. So the, cost was minimal to create this fun industrial chic table. 

It is hard to tell in these pictures, but a soft brown, antique glaze was added to the finish  on the paint

A variety of old  yardsticks, found at a local sale this summer were added to recreate the top of the table.
